Exhibition in Düsseldorf: German EXPO Pavilions from 1851 to 2015

The history of the German Expo Pavilions from 1851 to 2015 is featured in an exhibition which celebrated it´s opening in Düsseldorf last night, with a special exhibition module – a 3D model with moving visualizations — giving insights into the German Pavilion at Expo 2015 in Milan.

Creative director Peter Redlin and architect Lennart Wiechell from the Consortium German Pavilion (Milla & Partner, Schmidhuber and Nüssli Germany) will be speaking about the Pavilion concept in a lecture on September 24. The consortium has been entrusted with the planning and construction of the Pavilion and its exhibition.

The exhibition in the House of the Architect, which was curated by Cologne-based architect, artist and EXPO expert Dr. Thomas Schriefers, will be shown until October 24, 2014
