In June this year, the Mercedes-Benz ServiceGipfel 2010, Daimler’s largest internal service fair, was held at the Hanover Messe. The Mercedes-Benz German sales organisation (MBVD) invited close to 8,000 external sales managers and dealers to its three-day event, to inform and update them on current and future products, services and strategies in the key area of automotive and commercial vehicle service and support. On a surface covering 7,000 square metres, 130 exhibitors presented their ideas and innovations on automotive services for the future. The various thematic areas were positioned radially around a central information counter. Visitor orientation was supported by a colour-coded communication hierarchy system, conceived for optimum impact from close up and from afar. Booth furnishings were designed for positive interaction and distinctive product presentations.
Milla & Partner was responsible for the exhibition, convention and event concept, as well as complete event management for 8,000 participants, 120 training and information events, and opening and evening events. A database-supported online portal enabled smooth participant and exhibitor management - from hotel booking through to booth furnishings and equipment.
