Talking about energy - E.ON at the Hanover Fair 2008 and 2010

Guiding idea of the stand concept is the Marketplace of Opinions, on which E.ON invited to open dialogue.

A symbolically strong architecture formed the backdrop for the stand and the evening events. It played with the image of an Agora surrounded by columns, which served as a meeting and market place in ancient Greece. Milla & Partner combined this classical gesture with unusual media installations. In addition, cutting-edge interaction media opened up new forms of encounter. The interactive multi-touch media table was constantly surrounded by visitors, while Welcome Managers used the then barely launched and brand-new iPads to illustrate facts when talking with visitors.

Controversial panel discussions at the heart of the stand

The heart of the presentation was formed by panel discussions with renowned participants holding highly controversial discussions on urgent questions about today and tomorrow's energy supply. Open-minded experts such as Prof. Dr. Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, Prof. Dr. Claudia Kemfert and Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer guaranteed sound base of discussion and high-level debates.

„To invite your harshest critics to a public discourse on all aspects of energy policy takes great courage. E.ON´s courage was amply rewarded by the huge success of the stand.”
