EXPO land transferred in Milan

On December 16, 2013, in a signing ceremony, the Italian Expo 2015 SpA coordinating firm handed over the property destined for the German Pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015 to the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).

In addition to the transfer of permit applications, the pre-selection of different construction firms and the detailed concept for scenography and content, the land transfer represents another milestone in the progress of the project for the BMWi, Messe Frankfurt and the ARGE consortium consisting of SCHMIDHUBER, Milla & Partner and NÜSSLI. All participants can draw a positive balance for the year 2013. The stage is now set for the groundbreaking ceremony of the close to 5,000-square meter construction site at the Milan EXPO grounds in spring 2014.
