Duales Studium Mediendesign (m/w/d)

Welcome to Milla & Partner, the House of Experience!

We specialize in Experiential Communication. For global brands, we create analog and digital experiences in space and through time. Whether brand spaces, exhibitions, trade fair stands, events, or completely new experience formats: We make brands and topics tangible, vibrant and activate their addressees. By using experiential design, unusual concepts, exciting formats and meaningful communication. In our Experience Design Lab, we research and develop the experience of the future.

Why join Milla & Partner?

Because you'll get a work environment way beyond day-to-day design – instead, you'll need to think outside the box every single day. You will acquire skills that go beyond your classic field of expertise and that you would not necessarily learn in other agencies. Your development comes first – and your team will support you every day. You can thrive in a familiar atmosphere and show what you are capable of. Make it yours!

What you can expect:

The dual study model with three-month theoretical and practical phases combines artistic and creative studies with practical training in our agency. The media design course offers you a practical and at the same time theoretical education in the areas of media theory, design theory, motion design, interaction design, graphic design and spatial communication. You will alternately learn at our agency by active participation in daily project work and at the university. The course of study is remunerated. You can find all details about the study program (six semesters) and the university here (www.mediendesign-raven...).

In a typical project you will be doing:

  • Creation of adaptive, cross-format design systems incl. motion design, user interface design, interaction design, typography, design language, color concept and visual layouts
  • Preparing and taking part in client meetings and presentations
  • Visual thinking, designing wireframes and user flow diagrams
  • Research on target groups, customers, brands, products and topics
  • Development and support for the conception of cross-media communication solutions and visitor experiences
  • Hands-on involvement in projects for clients in a wide range of industries
  • Visualization and preparation of projects and content for presentation and documentation purposes

What we expect from you:

  • University entrance qualification and fulfillment of the entrance requirements for a degree program
  • Broad general education and very good expressive skills in German and English
  • Own work in the field of photography, videography, media design, design or art in the form of a (online) portfolio
  • At best, you have initial practical experience in the form of an internship or professional training in a design-oriented field
  • Great motivation to try things out, but also to get involved with our projects, clients and your new colleagues
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and initial experience with Adobe CS or CC, Sketch, Cinema 4D or similar
  • Efficient self-organization, reliability and perseverance
  • Enthusiasm for digital media, new trends and technologies
  • Team spirit and good communication skills for interdisciplinary work

Before you start your studies, we invite you to complete an internship with us – for several days, weeks or months.

PS: Make it green … together! The issue of our day and age: sustainability. As of November 2021, we are 100% CO2 neutral, but we want to be honest: There is still more! We want to counteract global warming with our work. Therefore, we reduce emissions in all areas, realize climate-neutral projects and rely on resource-saving materials. We look forward to you getting involved and enriching us with your ideas for more sustainability.
