Presentation of idea, concept and architecture for the German Pavilion at the EXPO 2015

The concept for the German Pavilion at the EXPO 2015 was presented to the public today by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the bid-winning consortium (ARGE Milla & Partner / Schmidhuber / Nüssli) at a press conference in Frankfurt/Main. The Pavilion concept takes a congenial but nevertheless clear stance on the EXPO theme „Feeding the planet, energy for life“, calling visitors to action and giving impulses for the future.

Stylized plants, growing from the inside of the Pavilion and creating a canopy on the outside are a central architectural design element. In the exhibition, visitors can discover cutting-edge ideas to the EXPO theme by using their personal „seedboards“.
