The ThyssenKrupp Ideas Park 2012 has been honoured with a GALAXY award in the category „Special purpose project“. Milla & Partner´s concept and implementation were considered gold-worthy by the jury. For 13 days last August, Milla & Partner transformed the Essen fair ground and adjoining Grugapark into a creative urban landscape full of exciting exhibits, aimed at raising enthusiasm in children and teenagers for technology and innovation. The international GALAXY Awards have been honouring excellence in communication disciplines for over 20 years.

The image film we produced for TRUMPF has been so well received by international audiences that the Ditzinger high-tech company now distributed the film not only in German and English, but also in eight additional languages - Italian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Taiwanese and French.

The concept for the German Pavilion at the EXPO 2015 was presented to the public today by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the bid-winning consortium (ARGE Milla & Partner / Schmidhuber / Nüssli) at a press conference in Frankfurt/Main. The Pavilion concept takes a congenial but nevertheless clear stance on the EXPO theme „Feeding the planet, energy for life“, calling visitors to action and giving impulses for the future.

The consortium (ARGE) Milla & Partner, Schmidhuber and Nussli has won the competition for design and realisation of the German Pavilion for the EXPO 2015 in Milan.

The experimenta is currently the largest science center of its kind in southern Germany. With its motto „discover experience recognize“, it awakens enthusiasm for natural sciences and technical subjects not only in children, young people and families, but also in adult visitors.

The German Bundesbank has commissioned Milla & Partner to develop the concept for the redesign of their Money Museum in Frankfurt am Main. The quality of their design proposal convinced the bank in a public tender procedure.

Our concept for the new Citizens´ Castle finds itself in illustrious company in the new book 'Urban Spaces - Plazas, Squares and Street Scapes': projects already partly realized in cities such as New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Sydney or Toronto are presented within the book.

Die Idee von Johannes Milla hat es in den Band 'Urban Spaces' (zu Deutsch: städtische Räume) des renommierten Schweizer Architektur-Verlags Braun-Publishing geschafft. Mit großformatigen Fotos und unter dem Titel 'New Citizens' Castle' wird auf zwei Seiten erläutert, wie sich der Stuttgarter Kommunikationsgestalter ein für die Öffentlichkeit zugängliches Neues Schloss vorstellt.

Woher die Großkrippe einmal kam, hat Schwester Witburga, Konventoberin des Franziskanerinnen-Klosters Bonlanden, nie herausfinden können. 'Wir wissen nur, dass 1902 der Superior hier die Krippe erworben hat', sagt sie.

Ein Schloss als offener Ort für den Souverän, die Bürger - Ministerpräsident Winfried Kretschmann (Grüne) ist von der Idee eines Bürgerschlosses angetan. Allerdings sieht er zurzeit nur die Chance, das Konzept des Stuttgarter Kommunikationsgestalters Johannes Milla in Teilen zu verwirklichen.

Last week, the Erwin Hymer Museum celebrated its first birthday. Now there is further reason to congratulate: at the ADAM award ceremony last night, the Museum was awarded a silver Apple. After DDC, iF, Galaxy and Golden Award of Montreux, this is now the fifth award for the Museum. Which makes us happy too!

The Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee was opened a year ago. Since then, the museum has become a firm fixture in the cultural and museum landscape not only in the Lake Constance region. „90,000 visitors in its first year is a great success“ rejoiced Susanne Hinzen, Managing Director of the Erwin Hymer Foundation.
